I’m a mom, too. And I’m a mental health warrior—not because I always had the answers, but because I didn’t.
I spent years in and out of doctors’ offices and therapists’ chairs, terrified that something was deeply wrong with me.
Nothing helped. No one could tell me what was happening in my body. I thought I was broken.
When my son was born, something shifted. I knew I couldn’t keep living in fight-or-flight and expect to show up fully for this little being I loved so much.
So I dug in. I read everything. I trained in nervous system work. I became a Master Certified NLP coach. And eventually, I discovered what no one told me before:
Anxiety isn’t a flaw. It’s a portal.
A portal into healing—if we have a gentle, non-threatening way to walk through it.
My passion for helping parents on a deeper level led me to pursue my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, which I’m currently working toward.
But Anxiety-Proof Parenting didn’t come from textbooks. It came from lived experience. It came from my nervous system. My breakdowns. My love. My shame. My slow path back to wholeness.
